Today, Mpilenhle Recycling proudly partnered with the Newcastle Municipality and other valued stakeholders to honour Nelson Mandela’s legacy through action. Together, we dedicated our 67 minutes to cleaning our community, promoting environmental responsibility, and inspiring positive change.

A cleaner environment begins with all of us. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and community member who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference. Every bag collected and every piece of litter removed is a step towards a greener, healthier Newcastle.

🌱 Zithande Mzansi Schools Activation Success 🌱

On the 23rd and 24th of February, we visited two primary schools to introduce the Zithande Mzansi Recycling Competition and host environmental awareness workshops.

Learners were excited to learn about recycling, its importance in protecting the environment, and the opportunity to win exciting prizes by collecting the highest volume of recyclables. The sessions encouraged learners to take responsibility and become environmental champions within their schools and communities.
