They explored the world of sensors and how they can transform agriculture, from smart irrigation systems to LED blinking circuits.

MDIhub had the privilege of being part of the Policy Dialogue on Industrialisation through Innovation, held on 18–19 June 2026 at The Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre, Johannesburg. 🇿🇦

Convened under the theme "Industrial Innovation for Inclusive Growth and Competitiveness," the dialogue brought together government, industry, and innovation leaders , including Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Prof Blade Nzimande, Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Mr Parks Tau, and Gauteng Premier Mr Panyaza Lesufi to chart a path toward a more competitive, inclusive, and innovation-driven South African economy.

From industrial policy coherence and localisation, to inclusive innovation ecosystems and regional integration, the conversations affirmed what we at MDIhub know to be true: innovation thrives when government, industry, and grassroots ecosystem builders work together. 🤝💡
