Palesa P**e, Miss Beauty North West Finalist.
Let’s begin our journey.
When she looked around her community in Motsoseng Village, she saw people walking without proper shoes and clothes. She saw an elderly man who was struggling to move because he didn’t have a proper wheelchair. And she saw children in an orphanage sleeping without proper beds.
In that moment she asked herself , _if she is called to be beauty with purpose, what will she do?_ So she decided to take action.
First, she collected clothes and shoes and donated them, because dignity starts with what you wear. No child should feel less because they don’t have shoes for school. No person should feel forgotten because their clothes are torn.
Second, she donated a wheelchair to an old man in her community. Elders built this community and they deserve respect and freedom. A wheelchair is not just a chair, it is independence. It is being able to go outside, visit family, and feel human again.
Third, she donated beds to an orphanage because every child deserves to have a comfortable and safe space to sleep and dream.
Now this is what beauty with purpose means to her It means using her sash, her voice and her hands to serve.
