SMALL BUSINESS. BIG PEACE OF MIND.

You lock up your business at the end of the day and head home.
But you still think about it.
Did I lock everything properly?
Is everything okay?
What if something happens during the night?

With the Oakshield Mamre Patrol, your business can be included in our regular night patrols.

We check the area and your premises as part of the patrol, giving you that little bit of extra peace of mind while you're at home. Because you shouldn't have to lie awake worrying about your business.

You’ve done your part for the day. Let us do ours.

Here for Mamre.

Jy lê lekker warm in jou bed. Dan begin die honde blaf.

Jy luister.

Security doesn't always have to be complicated.

Sometimes it's simply making sure your gate closes properly, your outside lights work and you know who to contact if something doesn't feel right.

Small things can make a big difference.

And if you're signed up for the Oakshield Security in Mamre you have the added peace of mind of knowing there's a patrol on the road at night.

Here for Mamre.

South Africa has more than 580,000 active private security guards — more than the police and army combined. (Source: PSIRA)

That statistic says a lot about where we are as a country. It also says something about the responsibility that sits with private security companies.

When so much of the safety burden falls on private providers, the quality of those providers matters enormously. Compliance, training, supervision, and accountability aren't extras — they're the baseline.

It's why we take PSIRA compliance seriously. It's why we supervise our staff. It's why management doesn't disappear after you sign a contract.

The industry is big. Standards vary. Choose carefully.

Your social media posts could be telling criminals more than you realise.

Sharing your holiday location while you're still away, posting a photo outside a venue at night, or checking in publicly at events — all of this tells anyone watching that your home is empty.

This isn't about being paranoid. It's about being aware that criminals do monitor social media, particularly in areas where they know residents are active online.

Simple habits:

→ Post holiday photos after you're back, not while you're away

→ Turn off automatic location tagging on photo posts

→ Be mindful of who can see your posts — review your privacy settings

→ Don't share your daily routine publicly (gym at 6am, home by 7, out by 8:30...)

Awareness costs nothing.
