Bikers Club SA

Bikers Club SA This is a platform where we share the love for motorcycles It is not about fear of dying but about doing the right thing for the people who get left behind.

My fiance was killed in a motorcycle accident 2 October 2018 without a will and having his financial matters in order with detrimental consequences for me. Since his death I have made it my mission to encourage engaged and married couples to get their financial matters in order - especially if one or both of them ride a motorcycle.

The "4-second rule" for motorcycles is a critical safety guideline recommending that drivers leave a minimum of three to four seconds of following distance behind a motorcycle, and motorcyclists should leave the same distance in front of them, especially in poor conditions like rain or fog, because motorcycles can stop faster and swerve unpredictably, needing more space for reaction than cars.

This extra buffer accounts for the rider's vulnerability, sudden maneuvers to avoid hazards, and differences in braking, reducing rear-end collision risks
