Mealworms and Superworms are well known for their high protein and fat. They are easy to maintain.

Mealworms are an excellent source of protein for Bearded Dragons, Quail, Chickens, Bluebirds, Turtles, Meerkats, Hedgehogs, Scorpions, Fish, Large Insectivorous Spiders, Praying Mantises marmosets, bats, rats and many more.

MEALWORM CARE

Mealworms prefer warm, dark, and damp places. They are designed for burrowing and eating and will feast upon grains (Bran) and vegetation.
LIGHT: It is very important to keep the container out of direct sunlight.
SUPERWORM CARE
Superworm care is basically the same as Mealworms only for the next two :-
Special lighting is not needed since superworms are photonegative.
Superworms SHOULD NOT BE REFRIGERATED! Refrigeration will kill the worms.
