Black soldier fly larvae are photophobic. As soon as they come into the light, they will try to hide. This movement stimulates the natural predator behaviour in animals, and promotes healthy foraging habits.

EntViro is exited to announce that we have started up our first production line, with our first product expected to reach maturity on the 18th of October.
EntViro is partnering with the food industry to minimise the impact of food waste. Food waste poses a significant threat to our environment and health. At EntViro we take the bits and pieces of fruit and vegetable waste that you don’t like to eat, and convert it to a high nutrient feed supplement for animals and nutrition for plants.
By doing this we effectively convert all the food waste we process into high value products thus reducing the impact on our environment.

At this stage we produce live larvae as a feed supplement for fish, birds and reptiles. The live larvae are an excellent source of calcium, essential fats and protein for animals.
The waste product from this process is a high nutrient plant feed. Farmers and keen plant enthusiast are reporting excellent results using the insect frass as fertiliser. Both our products forms part of nature’s way of reintroducing wasted nutrients to animals and plants without harming the environment. We just use what nature has given us on a larger scale.
