This is a full-time Electrical Design Engineer role at CPP Marepo Consulting Engineers located in Mbombela, with flexibility for some remote work. The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components, ensuring that processes and systems are safe, functional, and reliable. The Electrical Design Engineer will also work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure that project designs meet client needs and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Design Engineering
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
Experience with project management and budgeting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Candidates with a Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification in Electrical Design Engineering are preferred.
