The Centre for Entrepreneurship Rapid Incubator (CFERI) is proud to present its Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, an opportunity designed to equip emerging entrepreneurs with the practical skills they need to navigate the world of business.

Through facilitators from SEDFA, participants will engage in hands-on training covering essential areas such as business fundamentals, financial bookkeeping, business management and personal skills for running a sustainable business. 📚💼

But it’s not all about the classroom! The Bootcamp also creates space for networking, peer learning, collaboration and adventurous activities that encourage participants to learn from one another while building meaningful connections. 🤝🏽

As part of our annual business skills development programme, we are committed to helping student entrepreneurs move beyond having great ideas and towards building businesses that are equipped to grow, adapt and thrive. 🌱

Mr Promise has earned his place among the outstanding student entrepreneurs advancing to the EDHE Absa Entrepreneurship InnoVarsity 2026 National Finals. 🚀

UMPCFERI hosts the ABSA/EDHE InnoVarsity Internal Rounds Competition 🏆

With over 20 successful candidates, 7 have been selected to compete in the Regional Rounds in August. Top 3 winners were sponsored with seed funding worth R10 000.00 towards their business concepts, the seed funding will assist scale their business before the regional rounds competition.

A huge congratulations to all the UMP Internal rounds competition winners.

UMPCFERI was proud to host the National Mentorship Movement on Friday, 19 June 2026.

The movement brought together students, mentors, professionals, and aspiring entrepreneurs for a day of learning, engagement, and inspiration.

The event provided a platform for meaningful conversations around mentorship, leadership development, career growth, and entrepreneurship. Through insightful presentations and interactive discussions, participants were encouraged to embrace mentorship as a powerful tool for personal development

The programme created valuable networking opportunities, allowing students to connect with experienced professionals and gain guidance on navigating their academic, entrepreneurial, and career journeys.
