We are one year into the pandemic and still looking at even more challenging months ahead. But be that as it may, we took some time out to a SEED SWAP at Oude Molen Eco Village who hosted us together with CTT Food Growers Initiative. We went in with just a few varieties but came with quite a lot of different seeds. Looking forward to planting, the anticipation is overwhelming to say the least. Now preparing for Autumn / Winter season... Thank you to all the acquaintances met and to the connections made.

The research project "Coping with Covid-19" did in-depth research on the impacts of the COVID-19 measures with small-scale farmers in the urban areas of and , and the rural areas of Java, Masvingo, and Toraja in June 2020 and asked the question about their food access and whether food was available or affordable. At the moment the co-researchers in the food regions are working on these questions in more depth in digital discussions. The research was supported by Foundation fiat panis and the Freunde und Förderer Verein of SLE.
