Sharing my op-ed with deep humility, I reflect on the significant role that business has played in South Africa’s journey to democracy and its future development. At Wits Business School, we have witnessed firsthand how collaboration between business, government, and civil society can drive meaningful change. Our commitment to fostering dialogue and impactful partnerships remains steadfast as we address pressing socioeconomic issues. I hope this piece serves as a reminder of our shared responsibility and the power of working together for a better future.

It is now a widely accepted truism that any business school that seeks to remain relevant needs to ensure that it has societal impact, writes Professor Radebe.
