Our purpose is to make a difference in our Continent by supporting enterprise in its broadest terms in respectful, committed and innovative ways. We have a Board of Directors made up of representatives from the private, public and academia sectors bringing a wealth of knowledge of issues facing Africa’s SME communities as well as the experience to ensure exceptional corporate governance. As a non-

profit distributing organisation most of our services are provided for free due to the generous support we receive from government and we reinvest any surpluses in economic development project within Africa. Our programs are managed by highly trained professional staff and supported by experienced business advisors – some with over 25 years track record in managing and growing small businesses. So whether you are thinking of starting a new business or want to grow your existing business or simply just need expert advice on a specific issue in marketing, financial control, people management, Mining, Farming, working with regulations or strategic planning – Africa Business Foundation is your first port of call. Africa Business Foundation is a not-for-profit provider of enterprise development services to the Continent of Africa. It has been a remarkable journey from small beginnings, and today we intend help more than 2000 business people each year. Clients come from all walks of life, and range from people wanting to start a small business, existing small to medium sized businesses, manufacturers and small business tenants. Our services include business incubation, one to one advisory sessions (virtual incubation) and group training and mentoring. Vision To achieve higher economic growth levels, the ABF works closely with government and business to: • promote commercial and investment value creation • help to remove policy and non-policy barriers to trade and investment • link public and private sectors in Africa in beneficial partnerships and working arrangements • facilitate business to business interactions from various countries for commercial and investment purposes • inform private sector strategies when doing business in Africa • implement innovative projects that address local challenges To improve the lives of Africans by assisting the Continent to become more enterprising, increase economic activity and ultimately assist in creating employment.
