Firewerx Passive Fire Stopping Firewerx specialises in the supply and installation of all manner of Passive Fire Stopping products.

Passive fire stopping refers to the compartmentalisation and fire protection of a fire to enable tenants of a building to escape within a given time frame. We utilise only top quality, internationally recognised, factory formed materials. All products are tested and conform to the requirements of the relevant authority, be it SABS or British Standards. Intumescent C

Firewerx specialises in the supply and application of Intumescent coating to structural steel to provide 30,60,90 or 120 minute fire rating. Penetration Fire Seals
We undertake the supply and installation of penetration fire seals between fire zones within a commercial or residential building. Our penetration seals will provide a 120 minute fire rating. Our seals comprise factory formed fire batt, fire rated mastic, intumescent cable coating, intumescent pipe collars, wraps and pillows. We also offer smoke curtain for ceiling voids and can provide Calcium Silicate board for fire rated drywall partitions and ceilings. Fire Doors
Firewerx is able to supply 2 hour bespoke fire doors, steel frames and all associated ironmongery, such as push bars, door closers and push or kick plates. We can also provide a factory or site applied intumescent coating to solid timber doors to provide a 30 minute upgrade for the door in respect of fire. This service has proven extremely popular for doors between residential garages and kitchens and for use in areas such as hotels where apartments lead onto a fire escape.

Firewerx has completed works at Dunoon Library - absolutely stunning building. We applied Intumescent Paint to all structural steel and have installed all Passive fire Stopping throughout the building. Working with Atuba Construction was a breath of fresh air - great company to work with and we look forward to a positive future partnership.
