DRUG BUST | CHATSWORTH

An intelligence-driven operation conducted by the Durban Metro Police Service and Excellerate K9 Unit resulted in the arrest of a 42-year-old male in the Chatsworth area on 30 May 2026.

During the operation they recovered:

● 280 capsules of suspected he**in
● 1,250 pieces of suspected rock co***ne
● 375 tablets of suspected mandrax
● R179,400 in suspected proceeds of crime

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately R154,950.

The suspect was arrested and detained at Chatsworth SAPS on charges relating to the possession of suspected drugs and proceeds of crime.
