The unemployment rate is increasing daily, so as food prices but we can solve this if we can unite and become aware of hunger then start involving ourselves in programmes that set to reduce hunger.

: Mixed emotions about current rains coupled with snow, very chilly weather across KZN❄🌨🌧🌧🌧

We are grateful for the first rains ahead of spring season, this activates the commencement of soil preparation for 2021/2022 grain crops in summer rainfall regions. On the other hand we are also concerned with the current snowfall that could inevitably wreak dire effects on emerging, still suculent crops.

Whilst these first rains bring about much needed relief to the ravenous livestock in most dry areas, we also aware of possible cold-related fatalities that could be witnessed as a result of this cold weather. We therefore implore our livestock farming community to keep an eye on the animals so as to ensure there is maximum adherence to acceptable welfare standards. Thank You

We are just few weeks away from the first spring rains. eThekwini has received its rains as in today the 2nd August, we look forward to wet weather too.
