Made between 1977 and 1979.

Another exquisite example of an over half a century old amplifier made to last.
Pioneer SA-8100 (circa 1971-1973).
High wattage output for it's day 40W per channel.
0.05% Total harmonic distortion.
Complaint was going into protection mode randomly caused by old control and relay protection transistors ...take note of how the legs of the old transistors have corrosion.
Ready to rocknroll for the next 50 years !

Another old school beauty...
Kenwood KA-4002 low power amplifier that sounds very similar to a valve amplifier.
Sounds the way it should after replacing a couple of electrolytic capacitors and a bit of love.
Ready to rocknroll for the next 30 years or more !

Just throwing out a question...has anyone noticed your lights dimming during certain hours especially when using the kettle or stove?
I've noticed that the mains are fluctuating between 220v down to 180v.
