As residents we must always remain vigilant especially with opportunist thefts of mobiles phones.

IMPORTANT TIP - Mobile phones are easy targets but all smart phones can be tracked.

When UWatch turn up to the scene when a phone has been stolen, in nearly every case the owner has not enabled tracking of the phone.

Take the time this week to set up tracking on your phone so a friend or family member can locate it. In case it does go missing, they can immediately work with UWatch or SAPS to locate it and the thief.

Trust us - if the worst happens you’ll kick yourself is your tracking isn’t enabled.
