After a long wait, we are proud to introduce Simonsvlei’s Sarel Rossouw Signature Red, a limited Cape Blend crafted as an ode to the man whose name and legacy are deeply woven into the story of Simonsvlei.
Only 3800 bottles were produced, making this a truly special release. And before its official introduction, it already earned a Gold Award at the 2026 LUMO Awards.
This wine carries more than just a name. It carries history.
That made this moment all the more meaningful when Johan Rossouw, Sarel Rossouw’s son, visited Simonsvlei, a place he has been part of for many years. Having walked a long road with Simonsvlei himself as a winemaker, Johan remains a regular visitor, returning to a place that holds so many memories.✨
