*PACRS Security in Action - We fight crime 24/7/365
Quick response. Strong teamwork. Another successful recovery.
Our ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ were doing normal patrols in New Street (Paarl C*D), when they spotted two males carrying a drill and attempting to conceal it.
The officers on duty immediately pursued the suspects and with the assistance of more PACRS Specialised Units, one suspect was apprehended in the New Street, whilst the second suspect managed to escape.
The ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ was notified and SAPS contacted. While waiting for SAPS, the team discovered that the drill was marked with a business name.
The business owner was traced and he confirmed that the drill belonged to him and had been stolen from his bakkie, which was parked in New Street, Paarl.
Our ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ญ together with the business owner, proceeded to the Paarl SAPS station, where the case was formally opened.
The recovered drill was later handed back to business owner which expressed his sincere appreciation and said he was very happy that PACRS always goes the extra mile to fight crime.
