*‼️HARROWING HIJACK ESCAPE : BOLT DRIVER FIGHTS OF ARMED HIJACKERS IN CHESTERVILLE‼️*
At approximately 09:33 on January 30th, 2026, SBA PROTECT members were alerted to a stolen vehicle that had been recovered by G4U PROTECTION SERVICES on the M27 near Waterloo Spar.
After meeting with G4U PROTECTION SERVICES, it was discovered that the vehicle had been parked at a bus stop since the previous day, raising suspicions among the members.
A registration check revealed that the vehicle had been reported as hijacked via Cato Manor cas ###
Authorities and the owner of the vehicle were promptly notified.
The owner, who is an Bolt driver, explained that he had been hijacked by five armed individuals in Chesterville around 03:00 on Friday morning while responding to a pickup request. The suspects later left him near Sibaya on the N2N highway.
The owner recounted a harrowing experience, claiming that the suspects had attempted to gouge his eyes out, but he successfully fought them off before they abandoned him.
Verulam SAPS was called to the scene, and the vehicle was handed over for further investigation.
