UFS STUDENT STILL MISSING

Amkelani Nhlanhla Thwala, a student based at Kwetlisong Centre in Phuthaditjhaba and studying through the University of the Free State (UFS) South Campus, was last seen on Friday 6 September 2019 in the Setsing area. He was allegedly on his way to Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. Amkelani was wearing grey Relay boots, black jeans, a whitish T-shirt, and was carrying a grey bag. He has been unreachable ever since.

The UFS is doing everything possible to trace Amkelani and is working closely with the South African Police Service and Amkelani’s family to establish his whereabouts.

On this day, we Horner imbokodo. We say that may women continue to know that they matter and are in need. It doesn’t matter what you do. Do not be afraid to dream, take on challenges, express, create and take positions in wherever your heart desires . Women are leaders both in households and top positions and they do it exceptionally well.

From us BMFsc UFS Qwaqwa Campus, we say may this day be dedicated to exceptional women of this country. Your hard works don’t go unnoticed.

As the saying goes “Charity begins at home”. In commemoration of Mandela Day, as the BMFsc we committed some of our time to get donations for a student organization on the UFS QQ campus. This was to help the No Student Hungry (NSH) so that may help their beneficiaries. Our aim is to make an impact within our community. We certainly hope that this will bring a positive impact.

This post serves to announce that the ‘Black Industrilization’ discussion we had in June was our last radio discussion. BMFsc UFS Qwaqwa Campus will no longer be airing on Qwaqwa Radio.
