"Too busy" is a myth. People make time for things that are really important to them. We don't want to be making any excuses for being quiet for this too long, we would have loved to take you along and give you some updates on bigger initiatives and incredible projects we have been doing. Yes we have fell short on that, not because you're not important to us but because we have been pushing to get work done for our clients and partners.

As we welcome new friends who have recently liked our page, we hope our friendship will not ends here but you'll be in touch with us wherever you embark on your next Farming/Agriculture and Food Security Project for possible advices and partnership.

Heavy rainfall that happened last week has massively affected our small scale farmers, washing away their crops, mulch and to some extent top soil. This will affect their income for next two months or so that they have been generating through this gardens. It is devastating moments but we are working hard to restore their gardens. Nozipho our super young farmer, is one of those affected.

Woman play a significant role in the economic subsistence of their families. Meet two of phenomenal young woman vegetables growers, Nozipho and Velile. This are some of the young farmers who are benefiting from our Food Security Programme. In partnership with Balgotex Foundation we have since last year trained 17 small scale farmers. Most of them have turned their gardens to income generating business, selling their surplus organic produce. Most significant is that with their families now they have access to fresh, safe and nutritious organically grown vegetables. We have a long commitment to give them mentorship.

From our last post we all went down to work, we have been working so hard to impact people's lives and we have impacted many farmers, particularly small scale farmers.
