Audits
The highlighted packages below are only guidelines, but a site specific option can be created to suite the client’s requirements. Initial Assessment
All sites should have baseline assessments conducted before any of the options are selected. Baseline assessments assess the compliance level of existing Safety Health and Environment System. All Safety Health and Environment aspects will be assessed according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, a detailed report will be supplied to the client detailing improvement and corrective recommendations. System Implementation Option
This involves a consultant visiting the site on a predetermined schedule. The frequency of the visits is determined by the site. During this time the consultant will complete tasks as if they were a safety officer. The consultants will implement a safety system as per sites requirements. The site will be audited by the consultant on a regular basis to monitor progress of the system. Consulting/ Inspection Option
This option involves the consultant visiting the on a predetermined schedule. The duties of the consultant will be to inspect the implementation of the system by the site. Inspections will result in recommendations being made by the consultant and dates for closure to these recommendations. Upon the following visit identified options will then be inspected. The consultant will be implementing the system in an advisory role. Audit Option
This option involves the consultant doing audits as per clients system or requirements. Duration of the audit is dependent on the type and depth of the required audit. Standards and requirements will be discussed with the client. Recommendations will be discussed with the client and recorded if the client agrees to the recommendation which should form part of the audit system. Training
