It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Suren Harrilal. Suren has been working for Print in Time just short of 11 years. He was a friendly and amazing person and he will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace Suren.

It is that busy time of year again and we are almost at the end of 2024, time is flying!
Please note our shutdown period will be :

Christmas Function – We will be closed on Friday, 13th December 2024 from 12:30 for our year end function and will be back open on Tuesday, 17th December 2024.

Shutdown 2024 – We will be closing on Friday, 20th December 2024 and will re-open on Thursday, 9th January 2025.

We recently celebrated 30 years in the business (Technically 40 years, 10 years as Pronta Print when first starting out and 30 years as Print in Time).

We had a lovely cruise around the Durban Harbour and in the ocean, followed by a delicious lamb briyani.

Besides celebrating a big milestone in the business, we also celebrated the amazing achievement of 40 years service and hard work from Mr. John Chetty.

Co-founder of Print in Time, Jean was fundamental to the business's success and where it is today. Thank you for being a part of our lives and for the many years of memories.

A5 Books and Booklets

PUR Binding

PUR stands for ‘Polyurethane Reactive Adhesive’. It is a pliable and strongly durable bookbinding glue perfect for softcover books. It is ideally used for Yearbooks, Annual Reports, Catalogues, School Textbooks and Manuals to name a few.

The cover and pages are glued together at the spine and the other three sides of the book are trimmed to size for a perfect edge.

At Print in Time, our PUR Perfect Binder and PUR Technomelt Glue produces the highest quality finish for your print.

The spine on a PUR Bound Book allows you to print vital information such as a Title, Author’s Name, Publishers Name and Logo. The flexibility of the PUR prevents the spine from cracking when the book is opened and being read. The cover is also usually thicker than the pages of the book.
