Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Bodyguard. The Bodyguard will be responsible for providing physical security, personnel security, and private security services to clients. Daily tasks will include assessing and mitigating potential threats, ensuring the client's safety during travel and public appearances, and monitoring surroundings for suspicious activities. A high level of professionalism and situational awareness is essential.

Qualifications

Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security skills
Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Customer Service abilities
Ability to work independently and remotely
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is a plus
Excellent physical fitness and defensive skills
Valid security license and certifications as needed by local regulations

The recruitment procedure Isthunzi Security Solutions follow, is as follows:

1. Everybody writes a “dummy test” to verify the applicant’s level of English and of understanding simple instructions. You have to score 70% for the test to pass.

2. The applicants who passed the “dummy test” will write a competency test to verify each applicant’s subject knowledge of security work. The pass rate is also 70%.

3. The applicants who passed the competency test, will be interviewed by Isthunzi Security Solutions’ Area Supervisors.

4. The applicants who passed the interview will be appointed.

Trio arrested for fraud and corruption.

The K9 unit together with Organised Crime Narcotics arrested two men and a woman at City Deep, Gauteng for fraud and corruption.

The members followed up on intelligence information about people who were diverting goods to avoid paying customs duties and Vat. The information led the police to a storage facility in City Deep where a consignment of poultry meat weighing 27 000 kg was found loaded in a truck. The two men were arrested for contravention of the Customs and Excise Act, fraud and corruption. One of the suspects initiated a bribe of R800 000-00 to members in order to evade arrest. The woman who brought the cash was also arrested for corruption.

Upon further investigation, the police were led to another company also suspected of defrauding SARS. Upon searching the said premises, four containers containing imported poultry meat were recovered and the owner could not produce legal papers.

The public is urged to be whistle blowers and take part in stopping corruption. Bribe is a criminal offence which is punishable by law.
