When you read about creation in Genesis the bible says we are sitting under an ocean which is held back by the sky(you can't see the sky because it's transparent) . The sun, moon and stars are in the sky and they're meant to show us signs and tell us time and for light unto the world. Every living creature in the ocean and all kinds of birds were created using water and every land animal was created with earth(soil). God is great.
