Effective Microorganisms can be used to inoculate plants, water and soil to achieve beneficial results in growth and plant immunology.

It can be sprayed on the soil as a pre-planting treatment, used to inoculate seeds or transplants, and applied to growing crops as a foliar spray or through irrigation systems. EM™ is useful in growing nursery crops, container grown plants, hydroponics and in a huge variety of orchard applications.

EM™ will improve the structure of the soil, increase its fertility and radically improve biological diversity - EM™ will suppress soil borne pathogens, both through their direct action and the probiotic substances they produce. The microbes in EM™ work by being dominant over other soil microbes. EM™ works by getting the natural processes to function, the way nature intended by stimulating biological activity in the soil. Using EM™ will improve soil health and yields and enhance fertiliser performance.
EM™ will not only add to the microbial population, but will also stimulate resident microbes. This stimulation can lead to increasing the resident nitrogen fixation capacity directly through the increase of N fixing bacteria, and indirectly by increasing growth, increasing mycorrhizal activity and other fungal and earthworm activity.

Waste Water

There are usually two issues around waste water that can be problematic:

1. Odour
2. Sludge build-up

EM is very effective in controlling bad odors coming from waste water.
Initially this has a rapid suppressing effect, then as the function of the waste water system is restored to a biological one, the odor is not produced at all.
Over time the sludge will reduce and clarity and quality of the water will improve significantly making it suitable for applying to land and crops in many instances.

Bio-Quest Products provides a solution by restoring the biology and sludge and nutrient reduction leading to cleaner water.
