ENGINEERING LEARNERSHIPS, FUNCTIONAL TRAINING, KUMBA IRON ORE, THABAZIMBI MINE, LIMPOPO.

Kumba Iron Ore - Thabazimbi Mine is offering a number of Artisan Learnerships, in the following fields:

· Plater/Welder and/or Boilermaker.

· Fitter.

· Diesel Mechanic.

· Millwright.

· Electrician.

Requirements:

· Grade 12 with 4x N2 subjects for Plater/Welder, Boilermaker, Fitter, and Diesel Mechanic.

· Grade 12 with 5x N2 subjects for Millwright with fitter and electrical theory as prerequisite.

· Code 08 Drivers' Licence.

· Medical Fitness Certificate.

The preferred N2 subjects are:

· Trade Theory for Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Electrical, Plater/Welder.

· Mathematics.

· Science.

· Engineering/Technical Drawing.

· Structural Drawing for Plater.

· Industrial Electronics.

Remuneration:

The initial salary will be determined in accordance with Kumba Iron Ore Ltd regulations. This position is on an X2 grading.
