20 tonnes of medium SANS 62 steel pipes being delivered to Fire Logic! Plenty installations going in before the end of 2020… we couldn’t be more excited!
Below are some pictures and a video of the 20 tonnes of pipes being off-loaded at Fire Logics’ workshop.
These will be stored at our workshop where they will be cut, threaded, welded and have fittings attached according to our drawings. Once manufactured and ready for site, they are painted a nice, bright red colour and then transported to the various sites where they will be installed.

Meet Caleb. Our latest member to the Fire Logic family. Caleb will be one of our project managers, and is already studying day and night to ensure he’ll be the best there is. His hard work and dedication are already showing tremendously and we’ve only had him with us a handful of weeks. We are so excited to have such a hard worker on our team; not to mention the bright smile he carries around with him and shares with all our other workers. Welcome to our family and we look forward to seeing your growth with us.

1. Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
Jonathan Lewis. I always wanted to be a firefighter, so anything to do with firefighting or fire protection would interest me. Hence, I started studding his A.S.I.B rulebook.
2. What type of fire protection is your favorite and why?
Pre-Action System. It’s complex but the way it operates is amazing. It’s a basic concept of a dry system, but with a fail-safe activation to prevent false alarms (and resulting water damage of products unnecessarily). It has both a pneumatic and electronic release. A very interesting system!
3. What do you enjoy the most about working at Fire Logic?
Going to sites. There’s always something new to learn. I feel you gain more knowledge seeing the practical side of things too.
4. What skill do you think everyone should learn?
Improvisation. Thinking on your feet with no blueprint is a skill that could benefit just about everyone!
5. What is your favourite quote?
Time is a luxury we don’t have.
