We are happy to be involved with the construction of a new clubhouse building at the Fairview action arena , Port Elizabeth. Vector Consulting Engineers were engaged to render the Structural Engineering design services for the proposed new clubhouse building structure which is currently being constructed.

The video attached hereto is of the surface bed slab concrete pouring process which is currently taking place on site.

Happy Monday to all in the sector!!!

Pictures of the precast ,prestressed suspended floor installation currently taking place at The Kings Development in Newton Park, Gqeberha.

We decided on using this slab option as the rectangular layout of the development is ideally suited and there is also no need for any formwork below the slabs which means that brickwork and other finish trades can immediately proceed below and above the slabs once completed, this solution also provides the benefit of time saving on the construction delivery programme as it allows for the units to be completed earlier and subsequently handed over earlier as well.

Progress pictures included is of the roadbed/subgrade preparation currently underway at the Galvandale Soccer Astroturf project in Gqeberha, South Africa.

We were appointed for the Civil Engineering design services as well as project administration service on the said project as part of a turnkey contract.

Typical deliverables of our appointment include :
- Layerworks design for Astroturf
-Paved Walkway designs
- Stormwater runoff network design
- Production of Cad drawings for all the above elements
- Quality control inspections during construction
- Attendance of progress and technical meetings during the construction phase

Casting of the ground slabs at "The Kings " Development in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth today.

We were engaged by the Developer to render the Structural Engineering Design services for the said residential apartment block.

Starting the new year off fresh with a "clear" and a "grub". Pictures included is of the Earthworks clearing process currently being carried out for a new Soccer Astroturf field at the Galvandale Sports stadium based in Port Elizabeth.

We have been engaged for the Civil Engineering designs for the said project which includes the following scope of works : producing the layerworks specifications below the synthetic turf, paved walkways, stormwater reticulation and sub-soil drainage designs respectively.

We trust that this is going be a great asset to the local community and also encourage the youth from the surrounding areas to be active and get involved in the sport from grassroots level.
