🤝 One Team. One Purpose.

Our annual staff meeting brought the Pinion SA team together at the Old Grey Club on Friday for a day of connection, collaboration and looking ahead.

This year's focus was AI, exploring both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with new technology, and how we can use it to better serve our clients and support one another.

With quiz games, great food, plenty of refreshments and lots of laughter, it was a day well spent. Most importantly, it highlighted the value of working together, combining our different skills and expertise to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.

To our team, thank you for your commitment, energy and teamwork. Here's to another year of growth, innovation and shared success 🌟

Growing through resilience — a fitting theme for two days at the AGRI EC Congress 2026 🌾

Strong speakers across both days covered a lot of ground, from the economic picture facing producers to animal health and the practical realities of farming in the Eastern Cape. Different perspectives, one consistent thread: resilience isn't passive. It's built, deliberately, over time.

Those conversations between sessions are often where the real value sits — and as a multi-faceted group, they're where we learn the most about what producers actually need.

We came back from SA Large Herds Conference 2026 with a notebook full of ideas (and a few good stories) 💡

In a world of rising costs, evolving technology and growing external pressure, the message was surprisingly simple: the farms that succeed are not the ones doing more, but the ones doing the right things consistently and doing them well📊

Held under the theme Evolution of Excellence, the conference spanned global economic outlooks to soil health and calf rearing — with one clear thread for South African dairy: strong systems and simple thinking turn challenges into better results.

Our Pinion and Dairy Junction teams had the opportunity to attend the MPO - Milk Producers Organisation Eastern Cape Producer Day in Cradock on Friday.

The event focused on efficiency in farming, people, and sustainable success, with valuable insights from industry leaders including Colin van Niekerk, who shared practical experiences from the farmer's perspective, Alex Jenkins on improving herd performance through micronutrient management, and Dr Étienne van der Walt on human efficiency and performance in a demanding world.

Thank you to MPO - Milk Producers Organisation Eastern Cape for hosting another informative and engaging event for the dairy industry.
