The next question is: what environmental value is actually being funded?

Buktika calls this "Living Environmental Production".

A conserved or restored ecosystem is not simply a place where work happened once.

Its soils continue to function. Water keeps moving. Vegetation grows. Biodiversity responds. Atmospheric exchanges continue.

Those living processes may continue producing environmental value over time.

Buktika’s role is not to inflate that value.

It is to help make it measurable, preserve the evidence, and keep any resulting claim within the boundary of what can honestly be supported.
