NEW APPOINTMENT: Exporters Eastern Cape is pleased to announce the appointment of Samantha Dunlop in the role of Strategic Manager as of 1 February 2026.
With 20 years of industry experience, Samantha is a strategic business leader, connector, and ecosystem builder based in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. With deep experience across supply chain management, imports, exports, manufacturing, and enterprise development, she is widely recognised for her ability to connect people, products, and purpose to drive sustainable economic growth.
The purpose of the Strategic Manager is to provide oversight, strategic direction and accountability to ensure the mission of Exporters Eastern Cape is achieved effectively and ethically and to fulfil a key communication link between industry and Transnet to streamline the logistics channels for export.
Samantha champions locally rooted businesses that reach global markets. Her work spans diverse sectors such as Automotive, FMCG, Perishables, Cosmetics, Textiles, Healthcare and Renewable Energy, — bringing a strong focus on supply-chain optimisation, market access, and strategic partnerships.
She is actively involved in regional development initiatives linked to exports, logistics, and supplier development, working closely with private sector stakeholders, government entities, and industry associations.
The appointment of a Strategic Manager, made possible through the sponsorship of the Citrus Growers’ Association, will further enhance the primary aim of Exporters Eastern Cape which is to create an environment for members to become globally competitive exporters by facilitating conversations, information and collaboration in the Eastern Cape export market.
