Not every product sits still or lies flat, bottles, cans, pipes, uneven surfaces. Contact marking struggles here. That's where the REA JET SC 2.0 continuous inkjet printer comes in: it prints from up to 70mm away without ever touching the product, so curved and hard-to-reach surfaces stop being a problem.

Dry in under a second, at speeds up to 400 m/min.

Propak Cape survival kits are ready!

We had so much fun putting these little survival kits together for our team who will be manning the REA SA stand at Propak Cape this month.

We’ve all been working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready, so I thought the team deserved a little something to help them survive the three days! 😅

Inside we have:

🍬 Mints – because fresh breath is important when you’re talking all day!
🍫 PS Chocolate – because sometimes you just need chocolate (and this one says Thank You ❤️)
🥩 Biltong – to keep the hunger at bay between all those conversations!
🧴 Hand sanitiser – because three days of handshakes means we need to keep those exhibition germs away!
💧 Electrolytes – because staying hydrated is key.
☕ Sachet coffee – for when you desperately need your caffeine fix!
🩹 Plasters – because happy feet are important when you're standing and walking all day!
🥃 A little shot – for when the nerves need a tiny bit of help! 😂

Hopefully these come in handy when we need them most!

We’ve put a lot of work into getting ready for this show, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it all come together and, most importantly, seeing the team in action.

Now… just to survive the final preparations! 🚀

P.S. Yes, my desk and office are a complete mess. This is what happens when marketing is in full-on trade show prep mode. 😂

Meet REA VERIFY devices, our code verification systems for 1D barcodes and 2D matrix codes.

Using a contact-free CMOS camera, it grades your codes against international standards - ISO/IEC 15416 for barcodes, ISO/IEC 15415 for 2D codes, ISO/IEC 29158 for directly marked codes - plus GS1, automotive VDA and pharmaceutical requirements.

Interchangeable optics and lighting mean it adapts to almost any code, surface or industry, catching print quality issues before they become recalls, rejected shipments or compliance failures.
