We are currently seeking experienced and qualified professionals to join our dynamic team supporting the installation, maintenance, and optimization of cutting-edge mining equipment in operational underground environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems and equipment in underground mining settings.
• Perform fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical components.
• Ensure full compliance with mine health and safety regulations, company standards, and operational procedures.
• Execute preventative maintenance schedules and conduct detailed inspections.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and ongoing operational activities on site.
• Prepare accurate technical reports and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Deliver continuous training and mentorship to underground team members.
Minimum Requirements:
• Recognized trade qualification as a Fitter or Millwright (Red Seal / Trade Test certificate mandatory).
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in a mining environment, with proven underground exposure.
• Demonstrated strong skills in fault-finding and problem-solving under challenging conditions.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Medically fit for daily underground work, in accordance with mining industry standards.
