So how do we activate and advance female readiness for leadership? By ensuring that we don’t put excessive focus on preparedness, to the detriment of positioning and performance.

Dr. Pheladi Mohlala, Senior climate change specialist at Sasol with 22 years of experience in research and development, Project Management, Training/Development, Supervision, Technical Support, and Client Relations. She spent eight years working in academia as a research scientist and 14 years working in industry in various management roles.

Dr. Pheladi Mohlala grew up in Glen Cowie, Sekhukhune district, Limpopo. She obtained his MBA from Wits, Doctoral degree in chemistry from Northwest University, Potchefstroom, Masters from University of Pretoria and her undergraduate degrees were obtained from the University of Free State.
