Let's face it, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹.

🍭In a world full of norms, 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 once in a while.🍭

🌠𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹: People who are trying to be successful often become more obsessed with that goal than with actually achieving it in real life.
This kind of thinking just gets in the way of actually getting things done! Instead, 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗢𝗨—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 (𝗶𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆).

It's a chance to learn. 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱. It's not something to be ashamed of, but something to embrace as a chance for growth and progress.

🌠𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺: you can change the meaning of any experience by how you choose to interpret it. "Good" or "bad," it becomes that for you. Say, "I'm so busy," and your brain will start finding reasons why you should feel overwhelmed and exhausted.
𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀. And whatever is happening right now can be made better by taking action to change it.

So, what do we take away from all this?

𝗪𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀. I think we really need to give ourselves a timeout and get grounded.

I don't know about you, but I'm so over the insecurities of the world. Most people spend their lives thinking: I'm not smart enough, pretty enough, or successful enough.

💣But the truth is: no one cares as much about your feelings as you do. They don't care if they've hurt your feelings or made you feel bad about yourself. They don't care if they've made it difficult for you to have self-esteem. They don't even care if they've made it impossible for you to succeed at something because all they want is for YOU to be a failure so they can feel good about themselves!💣

So let's stop worrying about all the things we could be doing wrong, or all the ways we could be better… and start focusing on what's important. Our own happiness and our own success! Because who cares what anyone else thinks?

🎆You're you, and that on its own makes you MAGNIFICENT. Don't waste your life chasing after something you aren't or becoming something you will never be. Be the best version of yourself and that's all that anyone else needs to be or do.🎆

🎇Sometimes, you just lose your spark. 🎆

You know, that little something that makes you feel like you're on fire like you're unstoppable, and unstoppable is exactly what you are—you're going to take over the world.

🌋But then one day, life happens. And it's not always bad things that happen, but sometimes it's just hard things and there's no way around it. You have to put in some extra effort and hustle and push through the tough stuff if you want to keep going on your journey.🌋

And when that happens, it can be easy to forget about yourself and focus on everyone else's needs instead of your own. But what do you do when this happens? Do you give up? Do you settle for less than what makes your heart sing? Of course not! You remember that there is power in knowing who YOU are—and knowing what makes YOU happy.

So how do we get back on track? How do we find our spark again?

🌟The first step is admitting that something has changed in our lives—that something isn't working anymore and needs to be fixed.

🌟The second step is deciding what changes need to happen and how we can make them happen.

In the end, sometimes all you need is a little self-reflection and introspection to get your life back on track.

🧐It's not pretty, it's not cool, and it's definitely not something we do here at My Go 2 Girl.🧐

Buying followers on Instagram is an APPALING business practice.

First, it gives people the impression that you're trying too hard when in reality your content should speak for itself.

🥸It also makes it seem like you have nothing better to do than sit around and buy fake friends—and also that you can't actually be bothered to make real ones?🥸

It's the equivalent of paying money for someone to pretend they like you, and it's pretty much the worst thing you can do on social media.

🛑It's time we stop telling ourselves lies about what growth looks like. It's time we stop pretending that we're doing something meaningful when all we're really doing is buying our way into being seen as a big deal.🛑

But most importantly, buying followers makes you look desperate. And nobody wants to be around a desperate person! If you feel like you need more followers, or if you're worried about losing followers, just remember: the best way to get them is by making awesome content and sharing it with people who love it.

A relationship is like a house built on a solid foundation. It's nice to have a big house, but it's not so great if it's built on sand. 🏰🏰

⏰If you're spending all your time trying to get more people in the door, but you're not building relationships with the ones that are already there, then you're wasting your time.

⏰If all you're doing is spending your time on cold leads that aren't going anywhere because no relationship has been built? Then again, that's a waste of time.

⏰The point is: if you can't figure out who your ideal client is and what they want (other than "more"?), then there's no point in even trying to grow your audience.

🖤It's important to remember that the size of your audience isn't nearly as important as whether or not it's made up of the people who want what you have to offer.🖤
