: Programme participant Lungelo Zindela, an engineer from EThekwini Municipality, lauds the Career Path Development for Employment (CPD4E) programme - a collaborative initiative between GIZ,German International Cooperation, the Impact Catalyst, and GFA Consulting Group.

“Since the beginning of the CPD4E Just Transition programme, one thing has stood out profoundly: knowing is not enough — it is in the doing that change truly happens. The Just Transition compels us to move beyond awareness and step into action, no matter how small. One person choosing to act can spark a ripple effect — influencing communities and young people to become confident and active participants in a decarbonised economy.”

: Komatsu South Africa, in collaboration with the Impact Catalyst, recently handed over a Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) to Nathi Sonke Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a Mpumalanga-based construction company that provides services to clients nationwide.

The handover formed part of an Enterprise Development Programme funded by Komatsu South Africa, aimed at supporting small business growth to drive sustainable economic development and contribute to the reduction of South Africa’s high unemployment rate.
