Legal professionals, what do you call this type of case

On March 23, 1994 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to the head.

Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit su***de. He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency.

As he fell past the ninth floor his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly.

Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his su***de the way he had planned.

"Ordinarily," Dr Mills continued, "A person, who sets out to commit su***de and ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended, is still defined as committing su***de."

That Mr. Opus was shot on the way to certain death, but probably would not have been successful because of the safety net, caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a homicide on his hands.

In the room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously and he was threatening her with a shotgun.

The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger he completely missed his wife and the pellets went through the window striking Mr. Opus.

When one intends to kill subject "A" but kills subject "B" in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject "B".

When confronted with the murder charge the old man and his wife were both adamant and both said that they thought the shotgun was unloaded.

The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her. Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is, if the gun had been accidentally loaded.

The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident.

It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother.

Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger.

The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.

Now comes the exquisite twist.

Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus.

He had become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window.

The son had actually murdered himself, so the medical examiner closed the case as a su***de.

Wealth has a voice😲

Don't let people predict your worth with what you wear, the car you ride and the house you live in.

Before you attain financial independence, the principles of wealth creation demand that you live below your earnings and worth.

If you are still moved by people's opinions about your financial health, you are in trouble.

If your expenses are motivated by the desire to make a statement, you are still imprisoned.

Many buy big phones 📱 so they don't look out of place, or cars that are bigger than them just to create an impression. You need to be delivered from that demon. It's a trap to keep you perpetually poor

Only be moved by what is necessary and needed at the moment.

Wealth has a voice of it own, when you become truly wealthy, it will speak of itself. No need to force it to speak when it's not ready.

Is better to look poor and actually rich than to look rich and very poor and miserable. I know guys who are perpetually under pressure just to appear rich.

Live in a house you can comfortable afford per time, don't be in a hurry to start building when you know you can't.

May this post deliver somebody today.

BOOK REVIEW SUBMISSION BY GODSENT UCHE

GIFTED HANDS BY BEN CARSON

Thank you sir for this opportunity. I've always wanted to write a review on this particular book.
My favorite book is Gifted Hands by Ben Carson. He remains the best paediatric neurosurgeon in the world. He came into fame when he separated the first Siamese twins in 1987.

Ben Carson wrote Gifted Hands as his autobiography to tell the story of his success. It continues to inspire thousands of people around the world even though the book had a lot to do with the medical field. It is a non fiction book and it is made up of 224 pages.

The book tells the story of a young black kid who was raised up in poverty by his single mother, Sonya Carson together with his older brother Curtis Carson, in Detroit, USA. His father left the family when he was just nine years old. He had to struggle with poor performance in school and low self-esteem in his education because his classmates made mockery of his grades. But his loving mother never gave up on her 2 boys even though they performed badly in school, most especially Ben. She became their inspiration and coach. She later introduce them to a lifestyle of reading books.

After some months of reading books from the library, Ben Carson's life changed. He became one of the brightest student in his school and he later graduate as the best student in the school and went on to study medicine at Yale University. He studied diligently until he graduated and later went to Johns Hopkins teaching hospital to study neurosurgery.

In the book, Ben Carson challenged the readers to THINK BIG. If the book can be summarize in two words, I think Think Big will be those words. Even though the odds were against him, he never stopped thinking big, and his faith in God also helped him become successful.

I read this book some years back and it broke every limitation in my mind. It's a great book. I will recommend it to everyone, especially those who don't believe in themselves and in their dreams.
