By the time you notice a visible drip, stain or damp smell, rainwater may already have been entering your caravan for months.

Water often works its way in through cracked roof seals, windows, corner mouldings, roof vents and exterior fittings. It then travels behind the panels, where it can quietly damage the timber frame, insulation, flooring, cupboards and electrical components.

Watch for these early warning signs:
