Yesterday, in D6 near Moretele Park, Mamelodi West, two 14-year-old twin boys were brutally killed inside their home.

According to the information currently available, the boys were stabbed multiple times during an apparent robbery, with their phones reportedly taken. There were no obvious signs of forced entry. Their mother returned home from work to the devastating scene.

The police are currently investigating this horrific crime.

We are urgently appealing to the community, media, private investigators and anyone who may have information. If you saw anything suspicious, heard anything unusual, or may have CCTV, footage or information that could assist, please report it to the police.

Please do not confront or accuse anyone publicly. Any information, no matter how small, could help investigators.

Please be careful of the "Morita Forestry Cape Town Office Launch" event circulating on WhatsApp and social media.

After a quick investigation, here are the RED FLAGS:

1. Not FSCA Registered - Morita Forestry is NOT a licensed financial services provider in South Africa
2. Ponzi Structure - They use multi-level referrals + "guaranteed daily income". This means new people’s money pays old people
3. Fake Credentials - Website domain was only created in July 2025, but they claim to be operating since 2019
4. Pressure Tactics - "VIP Invite", "Limited Space", "Lucky Draw Prizes" + asking for ID and "Morita ID" to join
5. Unrealistic Investments - Selling "Texas, California, Florida Timberland" to SA residents is not how real forestry works
