Environmental services across the project lifecycle

ENVASS provides a broad range of environmental services, from Environmental Authorisations and Water Use Authorisations to compliance monitoring, auditing, ECO services, specialist studies, biodiversity assessments and mine closure planning.

This allows our team to support projects across different stages of development and across sectors including mining, renewable energy, agriculture, infrastructure, manufacturing and industry.

With part of the ENVASS team having attended IAIAsa 2026 in Stellenbosch, the event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with industry professionals, share knowledge and showcase the range of work carried out across our different environmental disciplines.

The ENVASS team is in the beautiful Stellenbosch this week for the IAIAsa Annual National Conference 2026, marking our third consecutive year supporting the event.

ENVASS has been providing environmental consulting and advisory services since 2004, working across various sectors including mining, agriculture, renewable energy, logistics, infrastructure, municipal development and industry.

While our roots are in South Africa, our team has also worked on environmental and renewable energy projects across Southern Africa and elsewhere on the continent.

Our team was on-site today near Ogies carrying out monthly surface water monitoring, collecting samples at a downstream monitoring point to assess water quality and track environmental performance.

Regular water quality monitoring plays a vital role in environmental compliance by helping identify trends, detect potential impacts early, and ensure that activities remain aligned with regulatory requirements. Consistent monitoring doesn't just meet compliance obligations—it provides the data needed to make informed environmental management decisions and protect our valuable water resources.
