SUCCESS REPORT: OPERATION CLEAN-UP MONUMENT PARK

1. OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW
On 16 October 2026, CSI Security, in collaboration with Councillor Shaun Wilkinson and the Tshwane Group, conducted Operation Clean-Up Monument Park.
The operation was initiated following community complaints regarding illegal dumping, littering, and makeshift structures in public parks and open stands throughout the Monument Park area.
The primary objective was to restore affected public spaces, improve environmental cleanliness, and contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more orderly community.
2. OPERATIONAL TEAM AND SUPPORT

CSI Security Operational Teams:
- CSI Special Operations Unit
- CSI Armed Response Unit
Municipal and Logistical Support:
- Tshwane Group — providing waste-disposal trucks and municipal assistance.
The operation demonstrated effective cooperation between community leadership, private security, and municipal support services in addressing local environmental concerns.
3. IDENTIFIED TARGET AREAS
The operation focused on five identified problem areas:
1. Ridgeview / Muskejaat Park
2. Open stand between Sasol, Muskejaat Street, and Cliff Avenue
3. Open stand adjacent to the electrical substation on Cliff Avenue
4. Intersections and corners of Cliff Avenue and Kierieklapper Street
5. Open space directly behind McDonald's on Cliff Avenue
These locations were prioritised due to reported waste accumulation, littering, and the presence of makeshift structures.
4. SUMMARY OF ACTIONS COMPLETED
4.1 Waste and Litter Removal
Accumulated rubbish, litter, and debris were cleared from the identified locations to improve the condition and appearance of the affected public spaces.
4.2 Removal of Makeshift Structures
Makeshift seating and temporary bedding arrangements were removed from the identified public spaces as part of the clean-up initiative.
4.3 Waste Collection and Disposal
All collected waste, debris, and removed materials were loaded onto trucks supplied by the Tshwane Group for removal and appropriate disposal.
4.4 Operational Coordination
The CSI Special Operations Unit and CSI Armed Response Unit assisted with the operation, working alongside Councillor Shaun Wilkinson and the Tshwane Group to facilitate the clean-up across the identified areas.
5. OPERATIONAL OUTCOME
Operation Clean-Up Monument Park was a practical community initiative aimed at addressing concerns about illegal dumping, littering, and makeshift structures in public spaces.
The coordinated efforts of CSI Security, Councillor Shaun Wilkinson, and the Tshwane Group contributed to the clean-up of the identified locations and supported the broader objective of maintaining a cleaner and more orderly environment for the Monument Park community.
The operation further highlights the importance of collaboration between security service providers, community representatives, and municipal services in responding to community concerns.
6. FUTURE COMMITMENT
