Our story begins on a random Thursday evening in 2012, when our founder Mario decided to setup his first Shopify store. Some say he fell in love with Shopify that night, and that Shopify reciprocated that love by giving him sales. We don't know about that, but what we do know is that Mario knew that Shopify would be good to him. After taking the time to understand Shopify a little more, Mario was
offered a position at uAfrica.com, Shopify's African partner, where he helped hundreds of Shopify merchants get their stores setup, optimised and making money. In 2016 he left uAfrica.com and founded AskMario.co.za to continue helping local Shopify merchants achieve greatness. You see, we're not an agency trying to shove the next product down your throat.
