🔥SUCCESS REPORT:🔥

Date: 27 August 2026

OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW:

On 27 August 2026, intelligence was received regarding a silver BMW that had been positively linked to multiple theft-related incidents.

Following further intelligence gathering and analysis, it was established that the vehicle was travelling through the CBD area in the direction of Valhalla.

Operational teams were strategically deployed at key positions along the vehicle's anticipated route in preparation for an interception.

Shortly thereafter, operational members obtained visual confirmation of the vehicle and successfully executed a takedown operation.

Two suspects were detained at the scene.
The vehicle, which was confirmed to have been used in the commission of crime, was recovered and subsequently processed by LCRC for further investigation and evidential purposes.

We entered 2 Brinant teams in the fun run, going head-to-head with other security companies for the annual winners’ trophy. From the warm-up, the team spirit was LOUD, the excitement was HIGH, and we knew our runners were ready to give it everything!

Another successful multi-agency operation. 🐕‍🦺🚨

Brinant K9, together with South African Police Service , CAP K9, Gauteng Roads and Transport Department, The Gauteng Department of Education officials and High-Risk operational teams, conducted targeted searches across three Johannesburg schools.

K9 Mokwai and handler Ivan played a key role in identifying suspected concealed narcotics and prohibited items—demonstrating the value of specialist K9 capability, rapid coordination and professional teamwork.

SUSPECTS ARRESTED FOLLOWING PANIC ACTIVATION
🚨🦅🫵

🔸 On Tuesday, 18 August 2026, at approximately 10:15, Brinant Security received a panic activation from a business situated in Moot Street, Hermanstad. Brinant Reaction Officer Romeo 2 was immediately dispatched to the premises.

🔸 Upon arrival, Romeo 2 made contact with the client, who reported that two suspects had been identified. One suspect was visible on CCTV wearing a blue shirt. The suspects arrived at the premises in a single-cab Mazda bakkie and were seen roaming around the premises.

🔸 The two suspects subsequently attempted to purchase a car seat. The client noticed abnormalities with the seats and conducted an inspection, where multiple vehicles’ wiring harnesses, valued at approximately R2,000, were discovered concealed inside the lining of the car seat.

🔸 Brinant Senior Manager X-Ray 8 attended the scene, and SAPS was dispatched to assist. One suspect was successfully arrested, while the second suspect fled the scene on foot.

🔥 SUCCESS THROUGH INTELLIGENCE & RAPID RESPONSE

Following a house robbery in Centurion on 7 August, a white Toyota Corolla with cloned registration plates was identified as being linked to the crime.

On 14 August, intelligence confirmed the same vehicle was back in the area, with suspects believed to be scouting another property.

A coordinated operation was launched. The vehicle was located, pursued and successfully intercepted shortly after another house robbery in Rooihuiskraal / The Reeds CPF - Wierdabrug Sector 2, Centurion.

🚨 5 suspects apprehended
🚨 Stolen property recovered
🚨 Suspect vehicle secured
🚨 2 children safely rescued after being tied up during the robbery

🔥 SUCCESS REPORT 🔥

On 7 August, a house robbery occurred in Centurion.
The suspect vehicle was under surveillance.e 7 August robbery.

Following the incident, the operational teams continued gathering intelligence and monitoring the vehicle.

On 14 August, intelligence confirmed that the same vehicle had returned to the Centurion area, displaying the same cloned registration plates that had been fitted to the vehicle during the 7 August robbery.

The teams immediately coordinated their efforts and commenced an operational search for the vehicle. Intelligence indicated that the suspects were actively operating in the area and scouting for another property to target.

OPERATIONAL SUCCESS:

🔸 The suspect vehicle was under surveillance; surveillance was maintained.
A pursuit ensued, resulting in the vehicle being successfully intercepted.

🔸 The vehicle was found to be loaded with stolen property, following a house robbery that had just taken place in The Reeds, Centurion.

🔸 During the robbery, the suspects had tied up two children inside the residence.

🔸 A total of five suspects — four males and one female — were successfully apprehended at the scene.

🔸 The suspect vehicle was secured, and numerous stolen items were recovered.

The swift coordination between the various operational teams, combined with effective intelligence gathering and surveillance, enabled the suspects to be located and intercepted before they could leave the area.

On Wednesday, 12 August at 15:27, Brinant Security received information via the ASF – FG Emergency Group regarding a break-in in progress, with a female resident alone inside the house.

🔸 Brinant Reaction Units Romeo 6 and Romeo 7 were immediately mobilised.
On arrival, Brinant Reaction Officers gained access to the property through the main gate, which was on manual. Officers conducted a thorough premises check and located one Bravo male suspect inside the house. The suspect resisted apprehension, requiring Brinant to use the necessary force to safely detain him.

🔸 Brinant SORT Unit X-ray8 made contact with the resident and secured her safety.
CCTV footage later confirmed that the suspect had pushed open the main gate and entered the property through the open garage door, gaining access to the house.

🔸 The suspect was also found in possession of a small quantity of suspected ma*****na. South African Police Service was dispatched
