🚨 AREA SECURITY ALERT: SUSPECT APPREHENDED ON MOOT STREET 🚨

At 11:34 PM on Monday, May 25th, our control room intercepted an urgent community distress call regarding an active intruder on Moot Street. Because a criminal threat in the area directly compromises the safety of our nearby clients, our team immediately moved in to neutralise the risk.

The Incident:

- The Response: Reaction Officer Romeo 1 dispatched instantly, arriving within just four minutes to secure the zone.
- The Catch: Romeo 1 tracked the suspect to a roof where he was hiding, while Officer Romeo 2 arrived for backup to safely detain him.
- The Damage: The suspect had already damaged and attempted to steal multiple copper pipes.

The Outcome:
SAPS arrived shortly after and officially arrested the suspect, removing a thief from the immediate vicinity of our clients' properties.

By neutralizing criminal activity in our patrol zones, *we* ensure that our valued clients remain safe and protected. Fantastic, proactive work by Romeo 1 and Romeo 2!

🚨 SUCCESSFUL APPREHENSION: ATTERBURY ROAD🚨

On Tuesday morning, 26 May, our control room received a panic activation from a business premises on Atterbury Road. Reaction Officers R7 and R8 dispatched and responded rapidly.

The Incident:
- ⁠The Suspect: Alert staff members cornered a suspect believed to have stolen personal belongings (phones, AirPods, headphones, cash, and clothing) from a staff member yesterday.
- ⁠The Detainment: Brinant officers immediately took control and detained the suspect.
- ⁠The Evidence: Under questioning, the suspect confessed to the theft and to selling the items. CCTV footage positively identified him.

The Outcome:
Our team officially handed the suspect over to SAPS for further processing and criminal charges.

Thanks to the quick reaction of our team, the alertness of the staff, and clear CCTV evidence, we successfully apprehended the suspect. Excellent teamwork!

🚨 THEFT SUSPECT APPREHENDED IN SILVERTON 🚨

At 12h04 on Sunday, 24 May 2026, our on-site security team in Silverton spotted a shoplifter in action and requested backup. Our control room immediately dispatched Armed Response R3 and Z3 to the scene.

The Details:
Our team intercepted and detained the suspect for theft. Further investigation and staff statements revealed this was a repeat offender, who targeted the same business twice that morning to steal stock.

The Outcome:
We secured the suspect and the evidence, including CCTV footage, and handed the matter over to SAPS for formal criminal charges.

Whether it is high-value assets or retail stock, zero tolerance means zero tolerance. Outstanding vigilance by our on-site guards and response units!

Caught Red-Handed: Early Morning Apprehension 🛡

While most of the city was asleep, our team was wide awake and closing the net on a thief in Furrow Street.

The Details:

03:46 AM: Our on-site guard spotted a suspect actively stripping floodlights from a complex wall.

The Backup: Our Control Room didn't hesitate, dispatching Zero 3, Romeo 4, and Romeo 7 to saturate the area.

The Catch: Thanks to real-time updates from our on-site guard, Romeo 7 made visual contact and swiftly detained the suspect—clad in a brown cap and denim—before he could make his getaway.

The Recovery:

Upon searching the suspect, our teams recovered:

✅ Stolen floodlights
✅ Copper wiring
✅ Housebreaking tools

X-Ray 5 joined the units on-site to assist with the final handover to SAPS for formal charging.

This is a textbook example of how our on-site guarding and armed response units work in together to protect your property.

🚨 Caught in the Act: Swift Response at Total Garage 🚨
Our teams don't sleep so that you can. Late Sunday night, Romeo 14 proved once again why rapid response is the backbone of community safety.

The Rundown:

The Alert: At approximately 23:28 on 26 April, a vigilant petrol attendant at the Total Garage (Hertzog St & 24th Ave) spotted a suspect attempting to break into a Wendy house on the premises.

The Action: Romeo 14 was on the scene within minutes. Our officer successfully intercepted and detained the suspect before any damage could be done.

The Result: Pretoria Moot SAPS arrived shortly after to take the suspect into custody. We are happy to report no injuries and no property damage.

A massive shout-out to the alert staff at Total Garage—your quick thinking and our rapid response make a formidable team! 🤝

Romeo 14 has cleared the scene and is back on patrol, keeping the Moot safe.
