The 2018 dinner was such a success that DMS wanted to do a similar approach but this year we got to work with Chef David Higgs. What an absolute pleasure cooking his menu for our clients special dinner. This year the setting was at a private house in Umdloti on a deck overlooking the ocean. The guests were spoiled with an amazing setting and food from beginning to end. Myself and the TLC team had a blast running this event for the fourth year. Thanks again to The Creativity Lab for finding the perfect house and the most beautiful table setting and decor.

In 2018 we had the privilege to cook J Something's menu for our clients annual VIP dinner where they host high profile clients during the Loeries creative week in Durban. A very exclusive pop-up dinner in a private mansion in La Lucia. J was the celebrity chef and we got to do the cooking whilst also running the event. The evening was an absolute hit. A big thanks to The Creativity Lab for the table set up and decor and finding the gorgeous house.

Great oggend by die Bride in Bloom workshop vir Ek het lekker gechat oor Budget Management en On the day Wedding Coordination. Lorraine Swanepoel Kokkedoor het natuurlik die lekkerste happies bedien en dankie ook aan Jeanne Van Zyl wat die oggend gereël het. Sien baie uit om saam die girl BLOMME te beplan. Our final speaker for the Bride in Bloom Workshop is the one and only, Divan Coetzer van Buuren. He needs no introduction in the wedding industry, as he is an absolute industry specialist, especially when it comes to wedding planning and budgeting. He's done multiple high-profile events and celebrity weddings, and continue to do so with pure passion and commitment.

'Divan Coetzer van Buuren het groot geword in die Vrystaat en kom uit ’n familie wat altyd reggestaan het vir mense wat kom kuier. Alhoewel hy Drama in Pretoria studeer het, het hy homself altyd besig gehou met restaurantbestuur, spyseniering en funksie koördinering.

Divan het al groot sukses bereik wat funksies en spyseniering betref. Hy was van die begin af ’n entrepreneur en wou vir homself werk. Hy het aanvanklik ’n spysenieringsmaatskappy begin en het klein tot groot funksies hanteer. Hy het ook die spyseniering op ‘n paar plaaslike en international filmstelle hanteer.

Intussen het hy meer begin fokus op funksie koördinering en agtergekom dat dit sy passie is. Divan hanteer al vir die afgelope vyf jaar groot funksies, onder andere kykNET se Fiëstas, Silwerskermfees, en van sy kliënte sluit in Multichoice, DStv, Nando’s en Luxotica.

So ook het hy al menigte troues in Stilbaai, Kaapstad en Johannesburg hanteer -- nog elke keer met ’n gelukkige bruid as eindresultaat. Groot of klein, nog elke troue was vir hom ’n heerlike ervaring en hy stap daar weg met nuwe vriende.

Liefste Divan,

Ek sou nie die troue kon doen sonder jou nie. Jy was 'n raakvatter en baie kere my regterhand.
Jy het altyd alles onder beheer gehad en almal kalm gehou. Jy het my en Barry se mooiste dag perfek gemaak en al ons idees omskep in 'n realiteit.
Bitter baie dankie vir als. In die proses het jy ook 'n kosbare vriend vir ons geword.
