◼️ REPORT:

Abovementioned members received information regarding a business burglary that took place in Kyalami, Midrand, at a well-known entertainment venue.






Members received the lookout of a grey VW T-Cross and deployed strategically. Members spotted the suspect vehicle and a takedown was implemented, resulting in 3x suspects being taken into custody.

Upon investigation, it was found that the vehicle was fitted with false numberplates. Break-in tools were also found, as well as a DJ set taken from the venue and approximately 30 bottles of high-end liquor.

All necessary role players attended the scene. The suspects and recovered items were handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

*INTELLIGENCE-DRIVEN OPERATION RESULTS IN FOUR ARRESTS, SEIZURE OF TWO VEHICLES USED IN THE COMMISSION OF CRIME AND THE RECOVERY OF A STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE*

An intelligence-driven multidisciplinary operation in the Greater Pretoria area resulted in the *arrest of four (4) suspects*, the *recovery of one (1) stolen motor vehicle*, and the *seizure of two (2) motor vehicles allegedly used in the commission of motor vehicle-related crimes*.

*OPERATIONAL SUMMARY*

Information was received regarding suspects allegedly involved in motor vehicle thefts operating within the Greater Pretoria area.

Intelligence indicated that a *white Volkswagen Citi Golf* and a *grey Datsun Go* were allegedly being utilised in connection with motor vehicle theft incidents targeting residential properties and business centres.

A multidisciplinary operational team was subsequently deployed to the Northern Pretoria area.

During the operation, a white Volkswagen Citi Golf matching the intelligence description and registration details was identified travelling in the Winterveld area. The vehicle subsequently met with a grey Datsun Go, which had also been identified during the intelligence-gathering process.

Operational members, maintained observation of the vehicles while additional team members moved into position. Once the operational team was in place, a coordinated intervention was initiated.

Both vehicles were successfully stopped, resulting in the *detention and subsequent arrest of four (4) suspects*.

The intervention was conducted without reported injury to members of the public, operational personnel or the suspects.

Preliminary investigation established links between the vehicles and motor vehicle-related crimes in Pretoria and surrounding areas. Both vehicles were accordingly seized for further investigation and processing.

*SECONDARY OPERATION – SOUTPAN ROAD*

While the initial arrests and evidence-processing procedures were underway, members of the multidisciplinary team received intelligence indicating that another stolen motor vehicle was expected to be transported towards Soshanguve.

The team proceeded to the *Soutpan Road (M35)* and established strategic observation positions.

Shortly thereafter, members identified a vehicle travelling at high speed towards Soshanguve. When operational members attempted to follow the vehicle, the driver increased speed, resulting in a pursuit.

The pursuit concluded along the Soutpan Road (M35), where the driver abandoned the vehicle while it was still in motion and fled on foot.

Members pursued the suspect; however, the individual managed to evade arrest.

Further investigation established that the vehicle, identified as a *grey Jetour T2*, had been reported stolen in Centurion within the *Lyttelton SAPS precinct*.

The vehicle was recovered and the scene was secured. Relevant role-players attended and the necessary procedures were undertaken to process the recovered vehicle and evidence.

*OPERATIONAL SUMMARY:*
A coordinated, intelligence-driven operation in Northern Pretoria resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of a reported stolen Suzuki Baleno, along with specialised vehicle-programming equipment, a signal jammer and suspected vehicle-breaking tools.

The operation followed intelligence indicating the activities of a suspected vehicle theft syndicate operating in the Greater Pretoria area.

Following the receipt and assessment of intelligence, a multidisciplinary operational team was deployed. Information indicated that individuals allegedly linked to the syndicate were using a silver Suzuki Baleno displaying suspected false registration plates.

At approximately 09:00, the vehicle was identified in the Pretoria North area, where operational members commenced observation.

During the operation, the suspects reportedly became aware of the team's presence, resulting in a high-speed pursuit. The pursuit ended near Wonderboom Airport when the suspect vehicle lost control and collided with a streetlight pole.

The occupants subsequently fled on foot, prompting a pursuit by operational members. Three suspects were successfully apprehended.
The relevant scenes were secured and processed by the appropriate roleplayers. Further investigative procedures were initiated.

*SUMMARY:*
An intelligence driven operation led to the disruption of a vehicle theft syndicate operating in the greater Pretoria area, and as far as inter-provincial at times.

The Operational team was deployed across the Northern Region of Pretoria, based on intelligence gathered. Intelligence indicated that the suspects were using a Honda Amaze, Silver in color.

At approximately 02H20 to 02H30 a Honda Amaze was identified driving in tandem with a Red VW Polo, on the Soutpan Rd (M35), in a Northern direction towards Soshanguve.

Members monitored the vehicles, and as TMPD members were approaching the Honda Amaze from behind it started break testing and blocking the TMPD members.

As soon as they switched on their blue lights and siren to do a traffic stop, the Honda Amaze started fleeing at high, and reckless speeds. The vehicle drove erratically, at high speed, and recklessly endangered other road users and pedestrians.

The high speed chase ensued till Soshanguve Block A, where the vehicle came to a stand still in a dead end. TMPD members fired one shot and wounded the alleged suspect whilst attempting to flee, after spotting a fi***rm.

During this the Red VW Polo also became aware of the members monitoring and another high speed chase ensued in a Northern direction on the Soutpan Rd (M35).

The suspects travelled at negligent high speeds till where it hit a speed bump, and the driver lost control of the said vehicle. This caused it to veer off the road and crashed into rocks on the roadside, forcing it to a standstill. 2 suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot with members who pursued them. Unfortunately they were lost in between the residential properties.

A search was initiated and during this, the members noticed suspicious movements around and near a Nissan NP200. As members approached the occupants fled and it was discovered that the ignition was broken and the interior stripped.

Unfortunately the search for the offenders returned empty handed and they evaded arrest.

Investigations confirmed that both the VW Polo and Nissan NP200 have been reported as stolen during the early morning hours.

Scenes were secured, attended and processed by the relevant roleplayers.

GAC Risk Solutions through Afriforum NVDB recently received actionable intelligence regarding an individual allegedly in possession of an unlicensed fi***rm concealed within a vehicle.

Recognizing the potential threat to community safety, our team acted immediately to coordinate a response.

*Operational Ex*****on:*
The intelligence was swiftly escalated to the SAPS K9 unit. A multi-disciplinary operational team was mobilized, and a targeted operational plan was formulated and executed in record time.

The collaboration between private security and law enforcement ensured a highly coordinated approach to intercept the threat.

*Outcome:*
The operational team successfully located the identified vehicle and the driver.
During the search of the vehicle, a fi***rm was discovered hidden exactly as the initial intelligence had indicated.

Upon further inspection, the recovered weapon was identified as a blank gun rather than a live fi***rm.
The driver was processed accordingly by the authorities on the scene.
