Azandi De Bruin serves as a qualified First Responder within the Emergency Support Team (EST). She holds certifications in courses including Stop the Bleed, Advanced CPR, and SpOโ monitoring. Her passion for helping others and calm approach to patient care make her a valued member within the EST family.

From as far back as she can remember, Azandi dreamed of one day becoming a โpeople doctorโ โ a calling rooted in compassion and a desire to bring healing to those who are hurting and broken. She began her academic journey in education with the long-term goal of pursuing psychology.
Outside of EST, Azandi and her husband are involved in the security industry through their security company - Security Med 24 PTY LTD, specialising in vehicle tracking, bodyguard services, and professional security officers who protect client premises around the clock.

Azandi joined EST because she has a genuine love for people and finds purpose in helping and supporting others during difficult moments. For her, serving others brings a deep sense of meaning and fulfilment, knowing that even small acts of care can make a lasting difference in someoneโs life.

Outside of emergency response and work responsibilities, Azandi enjoys playing netball โ a fast-paced team sport that requires quick thinking, discipline, and teamwork. Those close to her describe her as compassionate, driven, and someone who naturally connects with people.
This chapter of her life is also especially exciting, as she recently became Mrs. Azandi De Bruin following her marriage to Johan De Bruin, one of ESTโs full-time members. The EST family would like to wish both Azandi and Johan all the best with their marriage and the exciting journey ahead as they prepare to welcome their little one into the world. During her pregnancy, Johan will proudly continue serving and supporting EST on her behalf while she focuses on this special season of life.
