Li@bility, is an add on product to the Virtu@l Mining Software (VMS) solution package offered by ENVASS (Pty) Ltd. This web driven application provides the registered user with a virtual mining platform upon which the planned and or existing mining activity can be created through a "drag and drop" interface. Li@bility provides the opportunity for the user to superimpose various iterations of a mining layout, each iteration resulting in its own operational context. The programme thereafter automatically generates a strategic compliance and performance framework on specifically environmental obligations toward closure and general compliance dictated by the current and relevant South African environmental laws. Li@bility automatically produces a breakdown of closure liability per mining domain, making the qualification of liability obligations better understood. The strategic framework further provides an assessment of the key environmental legal compliance and performance requirements which is associated by the proposed or existing mining activities, also presenting the exact legal context within which the proposed mining activity will need to take place
