We’re pleased to welcome Ivor Hartley Whitcher to International Gateway as our new Business Development Manager: Imports & Exports (Africa).
Ivor brings a valuable combination of deep technical expertise, extensive industry experience and a genuine understanding of what customers need on the ground.
With 17+ years in the fire protection industry, most recently as an Operations Director, his experience spans fire detection, containment and suppression, as well as system design, engineering solutions, hydraulic and flow calculations, installation, commissioning and technical training.
Simply put, Ivor has done the work, not just managed it.
That matters when working across African markets. Customers, contractors, engineers and installers want to work with people who understand both the technical requirements and the realities of implementation.
Ivor is well respected within the industry for turning complex technical requirements into practical, workable solutions and for building the long-term relationships that strong business is built on.
In his new role, he’ll be focused on growing International Gateway’s import and export business across Africa, opening new markets and strengthening partnerships across the region.
